finished this recently after working off and on for about a month.
It was to be a -completely- random gift for my boyfriend at the time.
I simply left it on his computer desk one morning before leaving for work.
He loved it.
I tell you what, though… that backstitching really did make it POP.
The pattern was from a freebie set by http://dragondreams.accra.ca/
The patterns were only available for a short time on their site back in 2002.
It was a set of ‘virtues’, intended to be stitched on a large afghan. (Love being #2 in the set.)
I have the whole set, and might eventually do that, but in the meantime…
