About
Who?
My name’s Gina. I’m a huge nerd. But I’m also a crafter. I mainly cross stitch, but you’ll see the occasional glass etching, papercraft, or perler bead project.
What?
You’ll see me randomly griping about XB360 achievements, my outdated computer, or the latest internet meme, but the main reason I started this was to catalog the nerdy crafts I’ve made or am working on.
When?
I’ve been gaming since before I can remember. I have fond memories of consoles as old as Atari, Turbografx, and the Commodore64. I still game to this day with all the most recent consoles, though I often revert to my old friends the SNES and Genesis. I’ve been crafting since young age as well, as my mother would insist on it. It was only natural to combine my two favorite things.
Where?
I was born in Costa Rica, grew up in Florida, and currently live in Arizona.
(Notice a trend in climates?)
Despite the name of the blog, I have nothing to do with New Zealand, I just happen to like kiwi birds, kiwi fruit, and the color green. I also happen to be allergic to kiwi fruit, hence them being evil. (Yet delicious).
What does the name have to do with the contents of my blog? Absolutely nothing!
Why?
I created this blog because I have a tendency to start too many new projects and not finish them. Or even plan them, but never start them. Hopefully with a bit of encouragement from random people on the internet, it’ll give me enough incentive to actually finish my projects.
And hopefully I can get inspiration from others blogs, as well as dish out some inspiration of my own.
